ALDINGA BEACH, Australia
In the past years, new forms of autobiography have brought forward many strong voices, especially women's voices. This story has such a voice, of one woman's life. Author Giselle J. Robin bravely comes forward to tell her story, inspiring readers with her own tale of triumph during the times when there were "Shadows over the Sun" (published by Xlibris AU).
This heartfelt and compelling account of Robin's experiences in life demonstrates how she overcame the avalanche of trials and struggles that were hurled her way - immortalizing the proof of a woman's resilience to recover and reinvent herself. Vividly narrating the moments and memories from her life in Germany during World War II up to the time she started and successfully managed a winery in Australia, this memoir shows readers how Robin's unyielding passion to succeed allowed her to engage life's difficulties and come out victorious.
Through "Shadows over the Sun," Robin hopes that readers will be inspired and encouraged to find an inner strength within themselves to face their inner demons as well as write their own story.
"Shadows over the Sun" will be featured in the annual London Book Fair (held in London, England on April 14-16, 2015) and BookExpo America (held in New York City on May 27-29, 2015).

About the Author
In Giselle J. Robin's memoir, many rich threads are woven together: being a child in Germany in World War II; a successful manger of large government projects; a young wife immigrating to Australia for a new start, and the hard work of starting the first organic winery, in the 1960s, in Mclaren FIat, South Australia. Through these episodes there is a sadness of lost dreams, the heartbreak of losing new love and a new beginning, and the devastation of dealing with the severe difficulties of the onset of a mental illness in the bipolar range. Robin is always an agent in her own life: her courage and determination to keep making the most of every new day, even when shadows are cast across the sunlight, is an inspirational story. More than one woman's story, it also adds to the rich collection of personal stories which contribute to the history of South Australia.
