83 percent of people agreed that Christmas is about spending time with family and friends, eauk.org, in a survey conducted by ComRes, Inc.
Waneta Worstine has written her first children's picture book, "Grandma's Yarn," to help bring the family together during the holidays, especially Christmas.
"Children are only small and impressionable for such a short period of time," Worstine said. "This is the time to share our beliefs, before worldly attitudes, behaviors and consequences swoop in to influence their thoughts and values."
This new picture book was written to help share intimate moments, enjoy one another's company and to help escape the struggles and distractions of everyday life.
"'Grandma's Yarn' is a tribute to the memory of my parents, who were instrumental in teaching me the importance of building up family relationships and a strong family support system," Worstine said.
