The tremendous ecological crisis has almost reached its peak and this indicates that the Earth is dying and every life form therein is doomed. With a collective effort, author Paul F. Ploutz believes that it isn't too late to act and be involved in an effort for environmental regeneration. In his book Global Warming: Handbook of Ecological Issues, he encourages readers to take a stand and make a significant contribution in addressing the ecological problems that lead to these situations. Here, he will walk readers through the life-threatening ecological realities, alarming environmental problems and the aggravating human exploits to raise their consciousness and inspire them to become responsible adults.
Global warming has put the Earth and all life forms in a critical situation. This ecological phenomenon, which is primarily caused by people's uncontrolled actions, eventually leads to other grave conditions. Without everyone's active participation, the mission to address this and many other ecological issues would be impossible; thus, the author takes a bold move to inform and enlighten every responsible adult and motivate them to take the big step to help save the Earth and all life forms from impending doom. Global Warming: Handbook of Ecological Issues is in itself a challenge for readers to take a position on the ecological or environmental issues. It provides awareness and that unique opportunity to stand in the position-what to believe, think, talk, and vote-and have some influence on the future of the earth and all life forms.
It is known that the United States, China, India, Japan, European Union, and all other industrialized countries are considered to be the greatest CO2 contributors. In this book, Ploutz tracks down environmental history-from the struggling societies to the period of the plague that devastated Europe, the industrial progress to the various research by several intellectuals, the emergence and escalation of environmental problems to the appearance of various technologies, and so much more-to understand where man is today and what changes he needs to make to ensure a livable planet for the future. Understanding the impacts of past cultures on ecological systems helps man to find the best ways to live in harmony with his land, air, and water resources.
Global Warming: Handbook of Ecological Issues no longer raises questions about the truth of global warming, but of what can a reliable citizen do about it. Ploutz rationally lays down relevant information readers need to know in order that they can consider, develop and perfect their beliefs on nature, ecological issues, and their role as an informed citizen of their country.
