GAWJJ Releases Third Book in DEAR BRITTANY

Family lifestyles may change and time may force change; however, for families, the healing and stabilizing force will always be the undying and unconditional power of love. Drawing inspiration from her granddaughter, "Dear Brittany" (published by Xlibris) by the author who goes by the pseudonym of GAWJJ combines poetry and short stories.

In this book, a storyteller explains the life of "yesterday" in the neighborhood and the varied lifestyle of the neighbors in a small rural community in southern Delaware as told through the eyes of a teen to an older teen/young adult as a form of advice and sage from a grandmother.

"Many people do not know their neighbors or their families," says GAWJJ. "We need to know our loved ones and to share in their lives. We need not forget from whence we have come."

"Dear Brittany" will show readers the importance of family stability, neighborhood connections and a personal relationship with God. It lets them look into and connect their education and their own personal experiences and testify for themselves on how far God has brought everyone together.

About the Author
The Rev. Dr. Geraldine J. Jones, a native of Seaford, Delaware, is a graduate of Delaware State University, Central Michigan University, and Capella University, from which she earned her PhD in education. She received a master of divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jones has been affiliated with more than twenty-five professional, civic, church, and community organizations, which includes Who's Who Among Black Americans and Who's Who in the World of Women. She is a Golden Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. A retired educator, Dr. Jones has spent years writing as a hobby. She has written skits, poems, and other dramatic themes for family, church, friends, organizations, and schools. A soloist, motivational speaker, workshop leader/organizer/planner, liturgist, poet, and writer, she has been published in Poetry Anthology and several other journals. "Dear Brittany" is her third book. Her other books are, "From My Heart to Yours" and From Our Hearts to Yours."
