NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ Throughout much of the last century, the world has been captivated by the message of salvation delivered by Billy Graham. In his upcoming release Through My Father's Eyes (W Publishing Group, ISBN# 978-0-7852-2713-7, $24.99, date tbd), Franklin Graham is preparing to share a lifetime of personal memories, anecdotes, and lessons that he has learned from his father. The book has taken almost eight years to complete.

"I am grateful for the legacy I inherited from my parents," says Graham. "But I treasure more their testimonies that have beckoned many to the foot of the cross, giving millions the rich heritage of salvation in Jesus Christ. I want to tell the next generation about what Christ has done for all. 'One generation shall praise Your works to another' (Psalm 145:4)."

"There is something uniquely special about a father-son relationship," says Matt Baugher, SVP and Publisher of the W Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson. "Through My Father's Eyes is not only analogous to one's relationship with a heavenly father, it is in this case a powerful look into a man and his message that only a son could provide. We're honored to work with Franklin Graham on such an important and meaningful project."

Franklin Graham is chairman and president of Samaritan's Purse, a Christian relief and evangelistic organization, and also serves as president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Franklin is the fourth of Billy and Ruth Bell Graham's five children. An avid outdoorsman and pilot, he lives with his wife Jane Austin in North Carolina where they have raised four children and now have ten grandchildren.

Donna Lee Toney, a colleague of Franklin Graham for over thirty years, has been involved in the ministries of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and in literary collaboration since 1982, most recently on the release of the best-selling The Reason for My Hope: Salvation with Billy Graham.

FRANKLIN GRAHAM IS AVAILABLE FOR LIMITED INTERVIEWS.
