In his new children's book, "The Adventures of Timmy the Turtle: Timmy at the Pond" (published by AuthorHouse), Frank Goddard tells the story of a little turtle with big ambitions.
In the book, Timmy the Turtle sets out on a journey outside his pond to explore the world, a journey in which he eventually learns the value of his faith.
Geared towards new readers (3 and up), the book sports colorful illustration and an impactful message.
"It instills the need to recognize the unforeseen," says Goddard, who describes the book at "a true-to-life experience."
An excerpt from the book:
Timmy stayed in the pond for many days, until one day Timmy decided to go out on his own.
"Boy, was it a big world out there!"
And Timmy was excited to see and experience all the little things that made up a turtle's life."
