After a successful career with the FBI, Dale L. Pitts has decided to use his analytical skills and inside knowledge of crime to become a writer.
"At the bureau I dealt with all types of people: good guys, bad guys and everything in between," Pitts said. "My knowledge reading and profiling others in the midst of a crisis has served me well in all walks of life. From gunfights to bomb threats, I've seen it all."
Pitts' FBI career has been instrumental in his transition into writing. By analyzing criminal mindsets and observing interpersonal interactions he's weaved together stories and characters that are believable and stunningly insightful.
"If there's one takeaway I would like readers to have from my work, it's that relationships are vital to all aspects of our lives," Pitts said.
Pitts' newest novel, "Itsy Bitsy Spider" is the story of a man who loses the love of his life in a car accident and suspects that a co-worker is behind the crash.
