WHAT | Book signing with Fmr. Captain Luis Carlos Montalván, a decorated veteran of the Iraq War, spokesperson for The Tower of Hope, and author of a wonderful new book, Until Tuesday, (about how his service dog, Tuesday, saved his life).
ABOUT | Captain Montalván is a writer, consultant and advocate who has written for The New York Times, Washington Post and San Francisco Chronicle. He holds a Master's in Journalism from Columbia where he is working towards another in Strategic Communications. Guests are asked to give a contribution of $25 for the cover price of a book they will receive. 100% of the donation goes to support Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA).
