The construct of the coloring book, according to Barff, started with Indian huts. She started drawing huts then it became houses- the more she draws, the more the structures change. Through the artworks in the book, the author invites the readers to be "in the moment" and experience the joy of coloring and relaxation.
"The images you see in the book will take you to many different places. Gardens, farms, villages, ranches. Just let your mind wonder and you will enjoy what you are looking at," Barff states.
