MEDIA, Pa.

Having recently become a widow herself, Faye Rothstein is all too familiar with its accompanying trials and tribulations.

"Becoming a widow left me lonely and afraid," said Rothstein. "In talking to people, all they said was: 'You will get over it. Time heals.' I went to a bereavement group and found there were widows who were desperate for help and in great need. This inspired me to write."

Writing from a wellspring of deeply felt emotion, Rothstein weaves a captivating mélange of tragedy and triumph that presents a soulful expression of the need for love, for true and honest love. In her new book, she speaks "On Behalf of the Widow" (published by Xlibris) through a tale that evokes the pain of such loss; the slow, arduous process of moving on and the heady feeling of finding a new love. The story follows Bob Horowitz and Susan Smith as their romance develops even as Bob learns and discovers in himself what religion means to him, and what it means to be human.

"My books are filled with love," said Rothstein. "They also have a portion to help someone or a group of needy people."

All that Rothstein hopes for in writing her books is to give her readers a pleasant feeling and the sense that all is right in the world.
