PHOENIX
"The world today is universal," said author Faye Badhwar. "It is good to learn about stories from other cultures."
With that in mind, Badhwar wrote "Tales from the East" (published by Xlibris) to introduce Asian stories to the west. Using colorfully illustrated stories, the book takes readers on two magical journeys through medieval China that teach them valuable life lessons. The first tale is about the friendship between a peasant, a buffalo and a dragon, while the second tale is about mystical story spirits that teaches a lesson about sharing.
It is Badhwar's hope that her book would prove interesting and beneficial for her readers as it teaches them about stories from faraway lands.
