Author Farmie Dee has struggled with mental health issues for most of his life leading to bouts of self harm and suicide attempts. In "Intimacy In Inconsequential Moments" (published by Xlibris AU) the author creates an impressive collection of poetry that showcases his perceptions on life and how he was able to express deep emotions and find equilibrium within.

"Intimacy in Inconsequential Moments" is a selected anthology spanning 20 years of writing. It is an expression of thoughts and feelings via poetry and short words of art, a yearning to create a connection of shared empathy that binds the author and reader intimately in moments of love, tragedy and hope, sadness and joy, solitude and reflection and the search to give them voice.

An excerpt from Inconsequential Moments
Lying on the floor, watching the rain through the lower half of the window, wishing it would wash away the dreary world or the melancholy that has gripped him. Smoke rises from his cigarette like an insubstantial ghost.

Dee considers this book as a therapy for himself and allows him to vent and confront many feelings of pain and distress, love, hope and joy through the sublime art that is poetry. His greatest wish is that readers will read his work with open minds and allow themselves to be swept up in his surreal poetic journey.
