Many people say that hard work has never killed anyone. This book may change their mind. Author F.D. Williams reveals his new publication, Walking Dead Man, his personal story about what happened to him and his battle with sleeping disorder. Like many hard-working Americans, Williams is dedicated to his job, striving hard to be the best provider for his family, but it comes with a price. He has jeopardized his health, and he is almost at the brink of death if not for his admirable will to survive and his strong faith to God.

Walking Dead Man tells the story of a man who does everything to be a good provider, risking his health in the process, but it also shows what one's faith can do. F.D. Williams works hard to make a living. A CDL class A driver, Williams works up to seventy hours a week. His rest day is only every Sunday. He operates a truck that had a gross weight of eighty thousand pounds. Since he is on the road most of the time, he has to eat wherever he can. It also means that he loses sleep since his job demands 14 hours a day. To keep himself awake, he consumes a lot of fast food and soda pop. There is a lot of sugar in soft drinks, and over a period it will cause a person to gain weight.

Just like many other Americans who work hard making a living for their families, he did not think of what could happen to their health by working so many hours, not stopping to take a rest, not taking vacation time to enjoy life with his wife and children. Eventually, he noticed changes in his body. He begins to have restrictions and limitations in what he can do.

This book is a valuable read for readers who may not know that a simple sleeping disorder can jeopardize their lives, giving insights for them to better take care of themselves and maintain a healthy living. Walking Dead Man will tell them that health is man's greatest treasure, and they should better take care of it or all is lost.
