In “Whistling Wind” (published by Xlibris in November 2016), Blohm shares a collection of haikus that speaks about her life and nature with her many fans and readers throughout the world.
A sample of Blohm’s haiku in this book reads:
a canary warns
miners of danger
our children till
adults to stop
and examine
ourselves and ideas
our dreams and goals
Aside from being the author of a number of haikus, short stories and essays, Blohm has been very active in the visual arts scene since 1965. From collages to watercolors to photographs, she enjoys creating art for herself and for others.
