Eve J Blohm Releases a Poetry Collection About Life and Nature  ImageEve J Blohm is a renowned author, artist, collector and poet who has been working steadily on her crafts since 1973. She has exceptional insight into life and nature, and her words project a beauty that is enlightening, soulful and can be described as transcendental.

In “Whistling Wind” (published by Xlibris in November 2016), Blohm shares a collection of haikus that speaks about her life and nature with her many fans and readers throughout the world.

A sample of Blohm’s haiku in this book reads:
a canary warns
miners of danger
our children till
adults to stop
and examine
ourselves and ideas
our dreams and goals

Aside from being the author of a number of haikus, short stories and essays, Blohm has been very active in the visual arts scene since 1965. From collages to watercolors to photographs, she enjoys creating art for herself and for others.

About the Author

Eve J Blohm, who has a background as an investor, has studied art at the New School of Painting and Drawing and at the New York Horticultural Society. Living in New York, she takes inspiration from the natural beauty of Central Park and the many art galleries and museums throughout Manhattan. She has a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University, where she studied German and social science. She is also an avid traveler and has studied archaeology.
