Many people often question their existence, wondering about who they really are, why they are here, what their purpose is and how they should conduct their lives. In his new book, "Parallel Paths to Personal Growth: The Search for Something Beyond" (published by iUniverse), author Eugene X. Perticone provides both a personal and philosophical look into the question of existence and details a search for the seemingly unknowable answer by looking to both nature and spirit.

"Parallel Path to Personal Growth" weighs the perspectives of both science and spirituality and demonstrates how they can be integrated meaningfully. Perticone also explains how intuitive moments can increase readers' awareness of parallel paths and help them balance their material and spiritual needs.

Perticone communicates that personal growth is not simply the forward movement of one individual in isolation from everyone and everything else that exists. It is the expression of an archetypal impulse to fulfill a purpose that has to do with the design of the creation itself.

"At some time in their lives, most people raise questions about what I refer to as the 'something beyond,'" Perticone states. "This book addresses issues that rarely are resolved satisfactorily without first reconciling the inconsistencies of our concepts of what is natural and what is spiritual."
