From very diverse backgrounds, almost immediately, John and Maria's love for each other confronts challenges that test them sorely. Will they be strong enough to overcome their differences and the tribulations with which life presents them?

"Immortal Longings" has everything: love, passion, drama, humour, happiness and grief, humanity and compassion, and most importantly, forgiveness. Eldridge also wanted to convey the idea of dimensions in life that are beyond rational explanation, the mysterious and spiritual side of existence.
