Marine commander Captain Thomas Krueger has just returned stateside, only to be reassigned to investigate a strange alien presence. Teaming up with naval physicist Samuel Diaz, the two men must race against time to stop this mysterious alien threat known as The Greys from infiltrating and enslaving the people of Washington, D.C. Along the way, they'll meet friend and foe as they try to thwart The Greys' evolutionary experiment.

In "The Greys" (published by Archway Publishing), author Eric Werner takes readers through a fast-paced, action-filled story that traverses the globe and culminates in a vicious battle for the nation's capitol.

Werner has been "fascinated by the mysterious subject of UFO s for years," which serves as the impetus for his writing.

"I tried to show the exotic differences other civilizations live by," he explains. "I also show that just because the intentions of advanced beings are benign, it doesn't mean that we should embrace them naively."
