Eric Robinson shares that part of his New Year's resolution in 2015 is to unleash his creativity by writing a book. Fulfilling what he promised for himself, he writes and publishes "Thoughts of a Changed Mind" (published by Lulu), which centers on how someone can live life to the fullest with Jesus Christ.
Robinson's book addresses some of life's most pressing questions: What is God like? How do we respond to contemporary issues that our society is facing? How do we pray? Why would anyone convert from Protestant Christianity to Catholicism? How can I live this life in a well-balanced manner?
The author considers "Thoughts of a Changed Mind" as a commentary on spirituality, on which he writes from a unique vantage point. "The perspective is reflective of the author's story from being Protestant to joining the Catholic Church and encompasses many secrets of the faith I've learned along the journey. There are great insights in the book that others will find interesting even if they disagree," he adds.
An excerpt from the book:
"Truth isn't just some abstract concept, or a list of facts, or a black and white picture. Truth is a person, and a person is full of emotion, feeling, passion, intellect, will, flesh and blood, spirit and life. A person is like a diamond, and like a diamond, truth is multifaceted. From one angle or perspective, a person can look a certain way, but from another, that person can look totally different. So I ask, is truth relative or absolute?" (Letter 15: Truth is a Person)

About the Author
Eric Robinson is a lifelong devoted Christian who is on a long and winding spiritual path. The timing of making the book "Thoughts of a Changed Mind" came as Robinson was going through the transformative experience of offering himself into the Catholic Church. Raised by faithful and loving Christian parents, he had long held a deep desire to seek after God and spent much of his formative years pursuing God through a number of ministries and spiritual homes that fostered his passion for the Lord. He was received into the church at the Easter Vigil, which amazingly fell on his 27th birthday. Robinson quickly embraced his Catholic religion and much of his experience of growing and learning as a new Catholic is reflected in this book.
