Emmy Award Winning Animator Illustrates a New Children's Book

Remember Point publishes a witty, adventurous new children's book, "Longfellow Finds a Home" and announces that it is first in a series of Wiener Dog Tales, illustrated by award winning animator, Art Leonardi and written by author, feature film screenwriter and director, Linda Shayne. It is a fantastical book filled with vivid illustrations and full of wit, humor and heart and is now available on Amazon, Kindle and in selected retail stores.

"Longfellow Finds a Home" introduces the mischievous, lovable Longfellow, the blue wiener dog, as he roams and wander without a place to call home. After a wonderful adventure with three funny dachshund puppies, and a few other animals, the lonely blue dog is embraced by a kind and loving animal family. "The book is entertaining and funny, and ultimately it is all about caring for each other," states mother of two, Kim Adams. "It is funny and also comforting for children." The book is an early learning, beginner reader for children ages 3 to 8 years old.

"Longfellow Finds a Home" dazzles with the vibrant drawings of Art Leonardi. His decades of experience animating for Hanna Barbera, Warner Brothers, Steven Spielberg and Shelly Duvall bring a delightful, soaring feeling of adventure to this new children's book. Author, television and feature film screenwriter, Linda Shayne, has written for Disney, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer of Imagine Entertainment and has directed for Paramount and Nickelodeon and her verses are clever, witty and evocative.
