17-year-old Edsell Jones used to be a good kid. As of late however, he quit hanging out with his childhood friends and started down the dark path of drugs and drinking. This all came to a grinding halt however, when he was stumbling home drunk one night and was picked up by a strange van, not to return home. Elsa Bonstein invites readers to join Edsell's mother, Lorraine, in search of her son, in Bonstein's new book, "Find Edsell!" (published by Abbott Press).
When Lorraine goes to the police, she isn't taken seriously, which prompts her to call two of Edsell's friends for help. A former army commando also joins the search, leading to the uncovering of a sinister plot involving a secret drug-testing facility, a scientist who performs questionable studies and a raging wildfire threatening to destroy everyone and everything in its path.
