Today's society is plagued by much malaise, all of which are seen by the observant eyes and processed by the critical mind of a poet. Drawing inspiration from all the negativity of this world, author and poet Elias Lewis shares all his "Outpourings."

As an avenue to voice out his innermost thoughts, Lewis uses the pen and paper to beautifully express what is inside his heart and mind. Thus this book is primarily a reflection of his thoughts on a variety of subjects. Peppered with his personal views about the things which impact the world either on a positive or negative note, all the lines of this work beat with emotions every reader will feel upon reading.

With the author's thoughts being guided by an unseen force from which creativity flows, he has written a compelling work that will draw everyone in. Along with his powerful command of the English language reflected throughout the whole piece, readers will surely understand and relate to his desire of oneness and peace amidst the entire plight this world is experiencing.

"Outpourings" identifies the different ills of society, and Lewis points out the alternatives if not remedies to these maladies. Overall, Lewis aims not just to express and to point out the crookedness of society, but most importantly, he wants to create awareness that all inhabitants of this world are bound to protect and do their part in making a change - starting from their selves.
