Provincetown, Mass.

When a murder shocks the residents of a small art and fishing village at the end of Cape Cod, the local police work with the FBI to solve the mysterious crime. But finding the culprit will not be easy. Will they get their man in time?

In "The Lighthouse Murder" (published by AuthorHouse) by Elaine J. Anderson, readers embark on a ride-along with the police of Provincetown, Massachusetts as they attempt to find the killer who rattled the town with a murder at Long Point Lighthouse.

An excerpt from "The Lighthouse Murder":

"The police chief, Gerald Jeter, knelt down next to the scantily clothed body that lay with swim trunks and a cotton shirt neatly tucked in around the chest in the sand at the foot of the lighthouse. Pulling the shirt away from the neck and shoulders and feeling for a pulse, the police chief looked up at his detective and to the national seashore ranger. 'He's dead. Notify the state police. Considering the marks around his neck, I think we have a suspicious death.'"

Anderson says "The Lighthouse Murder" was written without gruesome accounts and erotic sex scenes, which she feels allows for imagination and thought on the part of the reader.
