Ejaz Ahmed Looks Into Current State of 'Polar Bear' Image The earth's climate has significantly changed throughout the history. Nature, mankind and animals have experienced the consequences of the world's increasing global temperature. Feeling deeply concerned of the environment and the animals that inhabit it, author Ejaz Ahmed pens "Polar Bear" (published by Xlibris).

"Polar Bear" provides a closer look into one of the endangered species that are affected by the rapid climate change, the polar bears. These carnivorous bears live in the earth's Arctic Circle but with the Arctic warming twice as rapidly as the global average, the sea ice where they rely for food are diminished. Minimal and straightforward, the book encompasses various aspects relating to polar bears including its physical attributes, habitat, adaptation and reproduction.

Through the book, Ahmed hopes to instill the concept of protecting the environment and the animals who live in it.

"The environment is a major concern of scientists the world over. We, as human beings are the custodians of this planet. It is our duty to use the environment in an eco-friendly manner to sustain our growth and development," the author adds.
