Poisoned Pen Press is pleased to announce Eileen Brady as the winner of the 2013 Discover Mystery Award. Brady's winning manuscript,Dog Shows Are Murder is scheduled for publication in 2014.
As the winner of the Discover Mystery prize, Brady was awarded a $1000 cash prize and a publishing contract with Poisoned Pen Press.
According to Discover Mystery celebrity guest judge, Agatha Award-winning novelist Earlene Fowler, "A delightful and lively mystery that introduces Kate Turner, a veterinarian with heart, humor and a new penchant for solving murders. A promising first novel that will leave readers begging for more."
