From author Edward Cunningham comes a gripping account of the mystery behind one woman's murder in his new publication, "The Perfect Patsy." It chronicles how a sly man got away with his crime for many years. This is a story of how justice prevailed because of the perseverance of the police, the state's attorney, and the courage of a witness in coming forward.

Donnah Winger was 31 years old when she was killed in August of 1965. A slender and attractive young lady, she was in the process of adopting a three-month-old baby. Her husband of eight years, Mark, had graduated from V.M.I in Nuclear Physics and was working for the Illinois Nuclear Regulatory Agency. All who knew them thought they had a perfect marriage. On the day of the murder, Mark recounted how he saw his wife being bludgeoned to death with a hammer by an intruder. He shot and killed him. The police said it was a justifiable homicide. However, there is more to this case than meets the eye.

This gripping novel portrays a true crime story that involves betrayal, infidelity and a subsequent complex trial that sheds light on the true events on the wake of Donna Winger's murder. Her tale will give readers a glimpse into the lives of people who appear perfectly happy in the surface, but hide a different story from within. It also proves that nothing can be hidden forever. Eventually, the truth will surface and it will set one free and exact the needed justice.

Compelling and thought-provoking, "The Perfect Patsy" is a gripping read that will keep readers intrigued at every turn of the page.
