From consulting urban forester Michael Allen comes a brand new picture book that addresses hundreds of questions about tree diseases. "Dr. Tree's Guide to the Common Diseases of Urban Prairie Trees" is a non-fiction book that relates to the prairie regions of North America. Its overall topic is how to use the guide to determine what disease is present in one's tree and how to deal with it accordingly.

Tree diseases destroy millions of dollars' worth of valuable trees and shrubs, and despoil landscapes everywhere. Since there is hardly any reference or guide book available for the ordinary layperson, Allen that publishing his expertise would help save people a lot of headaches and a lot of money. Hence, he published this practical guide to help thousands of homeowners, businesses and government agencies address tree diseases.

"Dr. Tree's Guide to the Common Diseases of Urban Prairie Trees" is an illustrated guide that allows people to look at their tree problem to determine if it is caused by a disease. If they have an ash tree for example - in the southern Canadian and northern American prairies - the most common and frequently occurring tree diseases will be shown pictorially in the book. With this, Allen hopes to effectively share his knowledge with everyone.
