Sara Galloway Lennon, EdD, is presently serving as a school guidance counselor for the public schools of Robeson County, North Carolina. Dr. Lennon has a passion and enthusiasm for working with young children from high poverty and diversified backgrounds. Dr. Lennon has based her studies on the effects of poverty on students and is now considered an expert in this field. She has served as a school guidance counselor for fourteen years and has led numerous trainings and workshops. Dr. Lennon grew up on the shore of beautiful Lake Waccamaw, while being exposed to the Native American culture and the value of hard farm life, which led her to share the values of folklore and old proverbs.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Dr. Sara Galloway Lennon's inspiring tale engages children's imaginations to the mysteries of life and its valuable lessons.

When the bright yellow sun becomes bored with his daily view of the green and blue Earth, he strikes a deal with his old friend, the wind, to bring more colors for him to see. However, the wind warns the sun that every color's personality and behavior is different and can be difficult to deal with, stating the adage "Pretty is as pretty does." This proves to be true. Together, the sun and water team up in order to shape and train the behaviors of the colors. They begin to play off the strength and weakness of each color to make a prefect compliment, thus creating a beautiful and grand rainbow.

Readers who wish to experience this whimsical work can purchase "A Class of Colors" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
