Dr. Mihyar M. Awad Releases New Book on Developing Industrial Area's Environment

Dr. Mihyar M. Awad believes that the environmental condition of industrial districts in developing countries is in perpetual change, which leads to the failure of the classical modernization method in achieving their goals. To provide a long term modernization method for developing countries, he has written "Fractal Modernisation Model of Industrial Areas' Environment in Developing Countries" (published by Xlibris).

Fractal theory is a mathematical theory that discovers a system of measurement for irregular chaotic forms on nature. It can forecast the metamorphosis and dynamism of living natural forms. By taking inspiration on the approach and understanding of the fractal theory structure, this book shares a new method to develop an industrial area's environment by creating self-similar, dynamical, hierarchical, flexible and networked modernization method.

About the Author
Dr. Mihyar M. Awad was born in 1970. In July 2002, he graduated from the Vienna University of Technology with a Doctor of Technology degree. He has posted different positions including university teaching positions and as an architect on Austrian consultant companies. On January 2005, he established iproplan Planners Co. Ltd. in Qatar in partnership with iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH from Germany. The iproplan Planners have been awarded prizes from internationally recognized organizations. He is supervising a team of 80 consultant engineers and has executed consultant projects on architecture and infrastructure.
