Dr. Lemuel W. Watson has written many books and edited volumes as an academician. Coming from a family of creative people who value the arts as an expression of love, faith, and life, Watson has also been writing poetry for a very long time. Now, he finally unveils his poetic literary creativity to the world by sharing his first poetry collection in his newly published book, titled "Everyone Here Is Something Else. . ."
This book of poetry and musings is a passionate reminder of the beauty and pain that people face in life. It also reminds readers that they must keep their faith in their destiny as they embrace love, family, and the simplest of tasks that they forget along the way. It gives readers food for the soul and comfort in knowing that they are not alone as they move toward their destiny.
The poems achieve these through themes about life in general and people's ability to keep moving forward. In a world that is so busy, readers can use them to pause and reflect on the value of life and how precious their loved ones are and how fragile life can really be. These poems that "capture the essence of the moment and space in words" help readers to remember to be the best they can be on any given day or moment.
"Everyone Here Is Something Else. . ." is a book that reminds readers to slow down and remember that each day is a gift. It encourages all people to try to leave this world better than when they found it by allowing their most authentic selves to rise to the surface. This only comes after a certain level of self-awareness that this book hopes to bring about through reflections.
