About the Author
Debra Tracy, Ed.D., has been a public school teacher and administrator for thirty years and has been an adjunct professor at two local universities. While working at inner city schools in an urban school district, Dr. Tracy brought about increases in student achievement and raised test scores that earned her a superintendent's achievement award of excellence. She also worked as an administrator for Ohio's first and largest online K-12 program where she also brought about marked improvement in student achievement. Now retired from public education, Dr. Tracy continues to focus on the topic of school improvement with innovative ideas and can provide consulting services to schools. She is currently working on a project in higher education. A mother and grandmother, Dr. Tracy resides in central Ohio with her husband, Jeff.
