Douglas R. Bryant is a retired employee of 45 years in the paper mill industry. He enjoys a good mystery novel and fiction. He loves animated films and a good love story. Films that give true character has inspired him to write his first book, "The Edgemont Boys: The Bike," which reflects his love for the 50's and 60's. His second book, "The Edgemont Boys: The Circus," captures the 50's as he invites readers to remember what used to be. Each book delivers a story in the life of the Edgemont boys going through good times while growing up. He and his wife Linda are new to the South; yet the slow lifestyle, hot days and beautiful flowers bring back the memories of yesterday. These give him the inspiration to write.
