Dorothymae, first time book author/writer, and Robert L. Freeman, artist/illustrator, have completed a new book "Surprise Visitors": an informative and kid friendly storybook on Mother Natures' hurricanes that had an impact on Florida's four in the year 2004.

This is the first collaboration on a book by the Freemans. They have done everything together since their courtship and throughout their marriage. It started with a mutual admiration for each other's talents and the love of the arts. Dorothymae loved Robert's artistic and creative talents while he in turn loved her work in photography and writing. When the couple moved to Florida, they experienced many hurricanes and learned from friends that they scared their children so Robert thought he would illustrate a fantasy tale on hurricanes after the memorial 2004 Hurricane. Thus began their collaboration for this cute book. They hope it is a learning experience and that children will enjoy it as much as they have working on it.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Dorothymae and Robert L. Freeman's amazing tale teaches about weather patterns, the damage they can cause, and the aftermath that it leaves in its tracks.

"During any Hurricane Season Young People and Adults fear, these dangerous storms and the violent 2004 Season with four major Hurricanes had that such effect on Florida. It severely left an impact that has gone down in our history books as one of the worse and most unusual set of invaders. Personal experience in riding out some of Florida's Hurricanes as well as her Tornadoes and other weather threats, dealing with their aftermath gave rise to my idea of creating one of Mother Natures' Powerful Weather Patterns. HURRICANES. My illustrated book about one such group of "Surprise Invaders" that left an unforgettable mark in Florida is what both my wife who help with her writing skills and I put together. We wished to have a favorable impact on children so that they would not be frightened, but help them in learning of the relationship between Mother Nature and her control over one such damaging weather pattern. As another anniversary date of these historical Hurricanes nears, we are reminded once again of the Surprise Visitors of 2004. They are always a topic of conversation at the start of the season on June 1," stated authors Dorothymae and Robert L. Freeman.

Readers who wish to experience this informative work can purchase "Surprise Visitors" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
