About the Author
Don Wood is a family man with four daughters and five grandchildren. He has a family-operated business in Sydney, Australia. He was a champion athlete and is a current World Masters' champion in the yachting field and his yachting adventures have taken him to all the oceans of the world, including Cape Horn-short-handedly. He played rugby and soccer, and he is a self-confessed golf hacker. Whilst completing his army service, he was what was known in those days as a welterweight boxing champion. He raced catamarans worldwide representing Australia. He and his wife, Jean, loved life. His life was shattered by the news that his beloved wife was diagnosed with a terminal liver melanoma. He made a promise to Jean, and having no medical knowledge, he set out to find alternative treatments for the terrible disease of cancer.
