LAKE ARROWHEAD, Calif. - Author Donald Uttenmacher's concern for the national security of his nation inspires him to tackle and write about the dangers of terrorism. In "S.M.I.T.E." (published by Xlibris), he continues the adventures of the SMITE team as they battle against the infiltration of the most dangerous terrorist organization into the USA.

In the aftermath of a nuclear attack on Washington, DC, the United States fails to rebuild its economy or strengthen its national security, leaving the country vulnerable to infiltration by ISIS terrorists seeking a new haven. In this newest installation, the SMITE team discovers that the ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, is hiding out somewhere in the Houston area. The SMITE team is called upon, once again, to go into action to save the nation. Could they succeed?

Unique in its approach to a sensitive issue, "S.M.I.T.E." aims to open the readers' eyes and provoke their thoughts about the prevalent issue of terrorism and the necessary steps that the government should take in order to preserve the country's security.

"S.M.I.T.E." is unique in its approach to a sensitive issue," Uttenmacher says. "The threat of an Islamophobic label prevents most writers from attacking this issue head-on. Uttenmacher, however, does not beat-around-the-bush."
