Russell D. Ward was born and raised on the west side of Buffalo, New York in 1947. Back in the coal-burning, more physical times of life to the more modern days of today surely he thought, all the struggles and experiences in his life could be used to help others in some way.
The childhood adventures that led to very unusual, almost comical, incidents to being drafted in the Army and sent to fight for America in a far away land. He thought of the horrors of serving in Vietnam, getting wounded in combat, losing two sons in a divorce, abusing drugs, and having an out-of-body experience which led to a strong faith in God and the will to keep going forward and never give up.
Russell got beat up, knocked down and led astray. He knew his story was not a pretty one. Yet he believed it was necessary to tell it. He decided to tell his story. The whole story. The true, honest, unfiltered life of Russell. The hope is that someone may be helped by his efforts and his musings. Russell is a very contemplative person, and he has come up with various plans and ideas to make America great again.
"Life is hell," but Russell has learned to live his life, and let hell take care of itself. He has written the story of his colorful life. It is his goal to give hope and faith to people, to inspire them to not give up and to keep going forward regardless of their circumstances. We all need to be brave and strong to deal with the events of our lives. In his life story, Russell shows a strong character with truth and justice, in his own American way.
