The troubles of the world can overwhelm, confound, displace and stifle all that people have and all that they are. Very often, they need a reminder that there is comfort in times of sorrow; there is a reward for every trouble; there is a restful balm when they are too tired to keep going.

"The Spirit of the Lord is with Me" is a lovingly crafted poetry book that highlights the themes of kindness, solace, love and inspiration. They are divinely inspired to offer the reader a slow, contemplative word in these fast times, a gentle reminder that the Spirit of Him is present if they simply ask for it.

The poems in this collection serve as ever-present reminders of God's love and care for them whatever they might be facing. It tells the reader of the great solace to be found in God's love. It provides a way for the reader to connect with his/her own soul in order to connect that same soul with the Almighty. Here, the reader is invited to step away from all that keeps them disconnected to "Slow down and walk with God so close/ to hear the whisperings of His sweet Soul."

"The Spirit of the Lord is with Me" is a deeply inspirational book that takes readers out of their day-to-day lives and delivers them into a place of spiritual solemnity. When one is confronted by the stressors of life, it is good to hear words of calm and comfort. This small collection of spiritual poetry presents God as that comforter, friend and deliverer.
