Author Iman Omeed Khan MD's study of the English Quran's transliterations, by multiple scholars for at least a decade, has propelled her to share the insights and gems she discovered during her analysis. "The Divine System" (published by Xlibris) briefly discusses the Quranic injunctions and principles which are meant for all ages and all time; with some suggestions to better inter-human relations.

"The history of Islam as the faith of God has been buried and lost to antiquity, but the message in the Quran has been gaining renewed visibility as both a very negative and as a positive influence," Khan observes. "In spite of its growing visibility, there are baffling issues, as with all "religions", whether the individual, in reality, adheres to the tenets of the Quran and the faith. There is clearly a phenomenal misunderstanding prevalent about Islam and the Quran."

After her serious study of the Quran over several years, Khan dispassionately stresses the importance and relevance of the text to contemporary times where heated arguments persist as to which is the "better"/true religion. In "The Divine System," Khan presents direct quotes from the Quran and provides explanations thereof based on textual commentaries and her personal understanding, with the sincere hope that those who are interested in knowing the basic facts in the Quran get a clearer understanding of this preserved word of God.

A dissection of the Quran by a lay Muslim woman - who considers herself a forward-looking (progressive) moderate Muslim and focuses solely on a factual presentation of the Revelation - hopes to promote a better understanding of the Word of God, and ease some of the gross misunderstandings, sensationalizing by the media and bigotry that seems to have a firm grip in this world.
