Author Deborah Opara challenges her readers to "Dream Big" (published by Xlibris) while conveying an inspirational story following a teenage girl who has strange adventures and encounters mysterious events while remaining strong and determined despite the challenges life throws in her way.

The story is about a girl named Savannah who falls into a deep sleep after a homecoming that she did not go to. She misses the chance to see her stepdad due to this sudden slumber. In her dream, mysteries are conveyed to her and readers will see whether this vision was supposed to show Savannah something great or if it is a comeback of sorts. Readers will then see what happens to the girl after she wakes up and how what she saw in her sleep will change her life forever.

"If you want to do something for a change and you have confidence in yourself, do it," says Opara, expounding on what she wants her readers to gain from her writing. "Don't turn your back on it and don't give up. Do whatever it takes to get where you want to place yourself in the future because believe it or not, you can do it."

"Dream Big" is the second book of the Savannah book series; the sequel of "Whatever Goes Around Comes Back Around" that follows the teenage protagonist in a string of bizarre adventures after a terrible tragedy took her biological parents away from her.
