Author David W. Hinz releases his new fiction, "Cindy and Steve: A Marriage Odyssey" (published by WestBow Press), the follow-up novel to his short story "Justin's Story." "Cindy and Steve" often doubles as a guide to a solid, Christian marriage.

Cindy and Steve are Justin's devoted parents, who are fully committed to one another and God but find that parenthood, careers and changed interests take their toll on the marriage and faith. The two must learn to rebuild and reconnect with more love and respect than ever before if they want to keep their marriage healthy.

Within each chapter, Hinz carefully deconstructs both Cindy and Steve, revealing their ambitions, fears and goals. As big life events occur, he traces the evolution of their relationships, taking notes on how each person feels and how the couple relates to one another.

An excerpt from "Cindy and Steve":

"About a year after they were married, Cindy informed Steve that she was pregnant. It was a time of great celebration. They looked forward to a family, and were delighted when a son, whom they named Justin, was born. This brought considerable changes into their lives. It didn't diminish their love for each other, but did reduce the time that they were able to spend together."
