David L. Parker Announces STRONG FAITH

JUPITER, Fla.
Author David L. Parker says he wrote his new book "Strong Faith: An Introduction to the Study of God" (published by CrossBooks) to help people understand what the Bible says about God and how the truths of the Bible relate to each other.
"'Strong Faith' was written to encourage your faith and expand your knowledge of God," Parker says. "Each chapter contains a clear explanation of a truth about God that is easy to grasp and faith-affirming."
Knitting together the fabric of Christian theology, Parker says his book aims to teach Christian readers how to know and understand God in order to achieve a stronger faith and spread God's glory. Each chapter of "Strong Faith" teaches a major truth from the Bible about God in just two pages, making it akin to an easily accessible devotional for the layperson or the experienced clergyman.
"We live in a 'sound bite' culture," Parker says. "There seems to be little context provided for the facts that we digest. Christians often learn individual truths about God, but these facts are seldom linked. Thus, they remain unconnected and are easily forgotten. 'Strong Faith' seeks to connect these truths about God to strengthen your faith and thrill your heart."

David L. Parker graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master of divinity in biblical languages. He serves Christ at Tequesta's First Baptist Church as the children's director. He enjoys teaching, administration and working with kids. He has been married since 1993 and has three children.
