David Houser Releases THE SACRAMENT

SALEM, Ore.

A mysterious stranger arriving at the scene of those about to die prompts a journalist to look deeper into the identity of this strange man. This is the driving force behind author David Houser's new novel, "The Sacrament" (published by Abbott Press).

Investigative reporter Sam Noll has heard multiple accounts of a man referred to as "El Padre." According to the stories, El Padre is beckoned to those about to die. Sam has been given the assignment to figure out if El Padre is a man or myth. When Sam discovers a pattern to El Padre's appearances, he will uncover the secret behind a man some believe to be an angel.

Houser hopes that readers walk away from his book with the realization that everything has a purpose.

Born in Tacoma, Washington, David Houser at the age of 9 moved with his family to Sandstone, Minnesota. At the age of 20, he moved back to Tacoma. He has worked a variety of jobs between the sales industry and restaurants. "The Sacrament" is his first novel.
