WILLOW, Alaska - Author David Anderson claims to have experienced, not only 30 years of Alaska's mastic and untold adventures, but also what he thinks are the corruption, bribery and scandal that plagued the state. He documented everything he knows about all of these things in "Secrets in the Ice" (published by Xlibris).
According to Anderson, this book tells the story of how the government consorted to obtain and allocate at their digression sensitive documents from key figure heads from within the state. He believes these sought-after documents were from a two-year operation using undercover agents to acquire pertinent information which led to a federal incursion upon the state by utilizing covert tactics. News of the government's infiltration rippled through the state in a seismic wave; in little to no response time, politicians and targeted organizations were an open book to the ensuing investigation by the FBI. But as a lead witness at a grand jury through a highly publicized trial in Washington, D.C., Anderson claims to have observed federal misconduct committed by the very same organization that he testified for.
"This book would be appealing to those readers that are interested in the exhilarating experiences and history that the state of Alaska and the North Slope, above the Arctic Circle, has to offer," Anderson says. "I believe that capping the book's ending off with the unbelievable atrocities committed by the FBI leave an average reader with a good interesting read."
Through the publication of "Secrets in the Ice," Anderson hopes readers will realize that the federal government is not perfect and occasionally unjust as his writings exemplify. He would like those who will read this book to understand how vulnerable a person can be if caught in a situation that requires any federal agency to step in.
