In the ancient battle of good and evil, the question has always been who will win? Author Dave Bignell weaves his story around this tale before time, giving lovers of supernatural thrillers a story they will be swept up in from the first sentence to the incredible conclusion, with his new book, Ryder.

Opening with the ancient conversation between God and the Devil himself, Bignell sets the stage for an epic tale that sweeps through the millennia and lands on two people who are about to be pawns in a war that's older and greater than they can imagine.

Ryder, a young man who was snatched away from the hands of Death and left not really dead, but not truly alive, has been training for years, fighting for a force he neither understands nor wants to understand. All around him, the world is crumbling and spiraling out of control, and he, after all of the years of grooming for this very moment, realizes that he may be the only thing standing between the destruction of all humankind.

Christy Manahan is a young woman with a very troubled past. Running from it, and from her perceived sins, has gotten her nowhere, and she has finally decided to stop running and build herself a future. Unbeknownst to her, this choice has put her on a path that leads her straight to the center of the ancient battle, one that aims to gain her very soul. In addition to her own demons, she now has to face ones she never knew existed, and the outcome of the war rests entirely on who can win her soul for their own.

A phenomenal book that climbs to mythic proportions, Ryder will have readers furiously flipping pages to reach the stunning conclusion, the outcome of the greatest battle ever fought beyond human knowledge.

David M. Bignell was born in central Wisconsin in the late 60's and raised in Westfield, Wisconsin. Born with a love of history, stories, and books of every kind, the idea to create stories nagged at him for years. After writing his first book, Demons of the Past, and freelance writing, he realized that he was a born storyteller, and continues to write his imaginative tales, using his talents to create his newest book, Ryder.
