Dat Phung To invites readers to join him in discovering modern solutions to ancient mathematical problems in his new engaging guide "Ancient and Modern Mathematics: 1 - Ancient Problems 2 - Partial Permutations" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Phung To provides readers with theories that define general permutations as being the compositions of partial permutations. He guides readers in the application of these mathematical theories by looking back at ancient mathematicians.

"Unlike people today," says Phung To, "scholars who lived in the ancient world didn't have calculators or computers to help answer complicated questions. Yet, they still achieved great works, and their methods continue to hold relevance today."

In the "Ancient and Modern Mathematics," Phung To presents readers with 14 ancient problems. With each completed problem readers will find that the next problem is harder. Phung To has devised his book to focus on building readers knowledge in a progression approach.

"Take a thrilling journey throughout the ancient world, discover an important theory and build upon your knowledge of mathematics with 14 ancient problems," states Phung To.
