Authors and self-confessed animal lovers, Daniel Knowles and Sheila Kline, pen an entertaining story of a group of licensed mice "Traveling Across America" (published by Xlibris), bringing readers on a guided tour of the United States. It is the authors' desire to let everyone know that America has so much more to offer.

It is 1956 and a group of mice are inside the Grand Canyon. There is a deadly collision overhead between two commercial airliners and the mice assist at the site of the crash until human rescuers can reach the scene the following day. The mice religiously patrol the disaster area, keeping wild animals and snakes at bay. As a reward for their service, the mice receive a Presidential Declaration for a guided tour of America, lasting for however long it will take. That move will start them as they act as official tours for people "Travelling Across America."

"This book is loaded with factual information and personal experiences at various travel sites," the authors share. "The mice characters were added to lighten up the happenings."

This delightfully illustrated and wittingly written book aims to introduce readers to the wonders of travelling and make them appreciate the various places and many things the US offers.

About the Authors
The authors Daniel Knowles and Sheila Kline were both raised and educated in the DC Metropolitan area. Knowles spent his career as a professional firefighter, while Kline has retired from the Federal Government. They both have enjoyed owning many dogs all through their lives, especially the rescued ones. Since the authors are avid animal lovers and supporters of many animal charities, they thought it would be a novel idea to write about their vast travels by introducing mice as their trip companions to lighten up the many facts and details of each visited historic site.
