Author Daniel Iyeks confronts racial unrest by addressing the ills of underprivileged citizens and searching for resolutions to the problems preventing peaceful coexistence of various races in his new book, "The Perils of the Young Blacks" (published by Archway Publishing).
"All citizens of the U.S. are important and must work together to solve the problems of racial unrest so that all races can live amicably together," Iyeks says.
"The Perils of the Young Blacks" takes a candid look at some of America's underlying racial problems, examining obstacles to success, including some that Iyeks says are self-imposed. He addresses wage disparity, racism, discrimination and life choices, among other problems that he says still exist in every village, town, city and county in the U.S.
Iyeks challenges all races to make the necessary corrections in all areas of their deficiencies. He asks them to think of themselves as a member of the other race and try to see or feel the ills others are experiencing. While giving credit to parents who are doing their best to help their children achieve success, he directs politicians, clergy members, leaders and families to work together to seek real solutions to the noted problems.
