Author Dan Wos challenges readers to think about what success means for them on an individual level and urges them to achieve it in his new self-help guide to personal growth, "Defining Success in America: An Exploration of Success and Why it is So Easy for Some to Achieve" (published by Balboa Press).
"I've always been inspired by people who create the life they want, regardless of the circumstances and obstacles they face," Wos explains. "I realized early on that the biggest driving force in achievement was passion."
Wos wrote this book during times of transition in his own life, reflecting on his personal experiences while bringing forth tools and skills that the reader can apply to his or her own life. He stresses that focusing on one's thought process and taking full responsibility for thoughts and actions is essential to personal growth and, on a larger scale, the future of mankind.
"I wanted to share some of my stories so people could see that they are not destined to a predetermined life," Wos writes. "You can change course at any time, but there is a mental piece that must go along with it."
