Even our greatest heroes have flaws. Thomas Jefferson owned slaves, Michael Jordan didn't make his high school basketball team and with recent news, we now know the Duggars too have flaws.

In his new book, "Devils or Angels," Dan Roberson explores the myth of people either being good or evil. Roberson reveals the many shades of morality all people struggle with through short stories.

"Even with all the mistakes I've made in my life I can still look back and see the beautiful memories and friendships I've had," Roberson said. "My book details how this experience is universal and tells stories of how we all do good and bad."

The short stories artfully highlight the necessity of making mistakes in life and will renew readers' spirits to continue on and let go of regret.

"This book is not about judgment," Roberson said. "It's about forgiveness. Love and hate exist side by side and everyone is both good and evil. Forgiveness is what heals all."
