BETHLEHEM, N.H.
Veteran law enforcement officer, interrogator and instructor Dale Sollars shares the trick to "Getting Over on Others . . . with Permission" (published by Xlibris) with his new book. He draws from his extensive experience, particularly with sociopaths, to teach readers how to spot deception and how to use innovative social techniques to defend against liars, crooks and sociopaths trying to exploit people with their permission.
"I wrote this book to inform the decent people among us about the sociopathic techniques that people use to take advantage of them," Sollars says. His book is especially handy for those with job involving salesmanship, human resources, or background investigations. The sociopathic individual could be a car salesman, an insurance broker or someone trying to sell a particular type of market stock. The techniques and strategies they use to get over on people with their permission allows them to use verbal and nonverbal control techniques to take advantage of others, and if these types are in the marketing or sales industry, they may put other people's money in their pocket.
The central topic of this book describes these sociopathic techniques. Students of sociology, psychology or any human relations persons in any corporation or firm will find this information useful as they interact with clients or customers in personal and professional relationships. Law enforcement officers and corrections personnel will find this information on sociopathy vital for their survival. In personal relationships it is equally important to identify potential threats or oncoming issues to end one's relationship with someone sooner than later.
"The sociopathic edge on society is everywhere and you should know who's taking advantage of you, or using you for their ill-gotten gains," Sollars warns.
