An endearing teenage love story unexpectedly develops into a tragic tale of death and the intolerable grief that follows in Dale Boynton's debut novel, "Endlessness of the Stars" (published by iUniverse).

"Endlessness of the Stars" is the story of young lovers, Landon and Michelle. After Landon's sudden death, Michelle and his family are forced to come to terms with their loss. To overcome her pain, Michelle seeks solace with her friends. However, at every step, she questions her ability to live without Landon. Meanwhile, Landon's family has their own battle with heartache, as they try to put their lives back together.

Boynton, who lost his older brother and close friends as a teenager, weaves his emotions of tragic loss and the subsequent pain into this poignant story. In spite of his own personal loss, Boynton believes that the death of someone you love dearly is not the end for you. "You can keep their memory alive by remembering them and talking about them with friends and family and even those who may or may not have known them," he says. "No matter how bad life may seem to be, you are alive and you still get to live the life that you set forth in front of you."

Through Landon and Michelle's love story and Michelle's attempt to move on, Boynton emphasizes that teenagers can love deeply, and can sensibly reflect on their ability to deal with loss. Boynton manifests his feelings of loss as a teenager and his own effort at moving on, through young Michelle's struggle.
